You may think that Little Crown Interiors mainly designs nurseries, and that’s generally true, but we also design a ton of kids’ rooms! The problem is, there just aren’t very many companies that sell great kids furniture that’s stylish and affordable. I’ve worked with Babyletto on countless nursery designs, so you can imagine my excitement when they released their long-anticipated kids furniture collection!
I got to see a little sneak preview of the kids collection at a trade show earlier this year, and now it’s finally available to the public! The reason I love that this kids line is from an existing nursery furniture manufacturer is that the pieces can all coordinate together. We can even mix and match them within various types of projects, like adding an armoire to a nursery, or an activity table set to a playroom. Since many of the crib collections now have matching kids beds, the room can seamlessly transition without losing its style.
1. Hoppy Play Table & Chair Set: This is such a cute option for a wood play table! It has clean, modern lines and playful bunny silhouette chairs. The light honey wood is versatile and will easily flow with the aesthetics of your home. It’s perfect for independent play, art projects, tea parties, block building and much more!
2. Lido Wave Nightstand: This compact kids nightstand is as functional as it is charming. It has two spacious drawers that make it easy to keep your space and bedtime essentials tidy and organized. We love the playful wave design and the fun ball feet. It’s available in white, sage and a natural wood option.
3. Sage Green Scallop Bookcase: Scallop decor is having a moment! We wrote a whole blog post about that last week. This bookcase full of personality in a gorgeous shade of sage green. Its low-to-the-ground design makes it easy for kids to grab their favorite books or bins all by themselves. To keep things safe, Babyletto includes an anti-tip kit so you can feel good about adding it to your kid’s bedroom or playroom.
4. World Map Wall Art: This hanging map is a very kid friendly wall decor option because it’s lightweight, wipeable and made with a non-toxic faux leather. The adorable black-and-white line-drawn design makes is sweet and educational while its neutral style works beautifully in any kid’s room or playroom. Or nursery!
5. Foam Play Arches: These cushy vegan leather foam blocks are an invitation for open ended play. Soft, safe, and durable, they’re designed in versatile muted color combinations that blend seamlessly with any kid’s bedroom or playroom. We use these a lot in playroom designs and kids absolutely love them!
6. Rizo Scallop Twin Bed: This is such a cute and playful bed frame in ivory boucle high performance fabric. The cute ball feet are removable and it easily converts into a lower Montessori-style floor bed for younger children (or if you just like the more streamlined look).
7. Bondi Cane Armoire: The Bondi crib collection is one of our favorites, so having this armoire to add is so exciting! Extra storage is always a win, and this large arched armoire is both beautiful and practical. This would work so well in a nursery or kid’s room that doesn’t have a large closet or needs more storage for clothing.
8. Sage Mushroom Pouf: I remember making a squeal sound when I saw these at the trade show! Mushroom accents have been big in Scandinavian decor and have been flowing over into more mainstream design, so it’s so fun to see them in this collection! You can use this as a playful extra seat and it doubles as a foot rest. There’s also a mini version!
9. Bondi 9-Drawer Dresser: We’re always on the hunt for smart storage solutions, and this 9-drawer dresser delivers. They already had a 6 drawer-version of this dresser which we loved, so now it’s just more to love! With its timeless shape and modern vegan leather pulls, it’s perfect for a growing kid’s room—and the best part? It arrives fully assembled!
Here are a few more favorites, just because there are so many! The Rizo Wave Twin Bed above is just the sweetest—the scalloped detail is gorgeous and the color combos are lively and fresh.
Oh, and did I mention there are bunk beds?? The Bondi Bunk Bed above is one of our favorites. One key feature of this bunk is that it splits into two twin beds. The versatility is unmatched!
The Lido Wave Bunk Bed in natural wood is a stylish and functional choice (and you may have seen the matching bookcase in the first image). Designed as a low bunk bed for younger children, it can later transform into a low loft bed with space underneath—perfect for forts, play, or a cozy reading nook as your child grows.
