About the Designer
Naomi Coe is the award-winning founder of Little Crown Interiors, an interior design studio specializing in nursery and child design. She has designed nurseries, kid’s rooms, and playrooms for clients all across the country with a keen eye for style, function, and safety. As one of the first designers in the country with a specialty in these spaces, Coe is known as the go-to expert in her field.
Over 17 years later, she’s completed hundreds of projects. Her work has been featured in countless magazines, periodicals, and on television including People, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Access Hollywood, Project Nursery, and Entertainment Tonight.
Naomi authored her first book, Your Perfect Nursery, with publisher Simon & Schuster and it has been met with rave reviews!

Local Design FAQ’s
Who is Local Design for?
Our Local Design service is for anyone within Orange County, CA that has a nursery, child’s room, tween/teen room or playroom that they need design help with!
Who is the Designer?
The founder and principle designer of Little Crown Interiors, Naomi Coe, is the lead designer on all Virtual Designs. All communication and calls will be directly with Naomi.
How long does a project take?
Of course, timing depends on a few variables, but on average it will take us about 2 weeks to deliver your first design concept (after we gather measurements at the first home visit). Then, there are usually a few weeks making edits and refining. Next, we’ll start ordering and wait for things to arrive, along with coordinating contracting and installation. The whole process can take anywhere from 2-4 months depending on the level of customization. For these reasons, we recommend starting as soon as possible!
What if I only need a little help?
If you just need a little help, our Virtual Design options might be better for you! There are several packages and a customizable option if you don’t need in-person help.
Can you work within my budget?
One of the questions we’ll discuss with you is about your budget, and we will create a design for you that is within that. If you’re creating a room from scratch, we do generally recommend a budget of at least $8,000 for all the furniture, decor and acessories since these items do tend to add up! If you’re not doing a full room or already own some items, your budget will be less. This is not including design services fees or contracting fees.
Can I use my own contractors?
Absolutely. We have contractors we can refer, or we can work with yours if you prefer. We do not mark up contracting either way.
What if I already have some items?
We can incorporate anything you already have into your design—no problem! We can create the design with those pieces in mind.
What if I have a question after my Design is already complete?
No problem! Just send us an email.
What if I want to book more than one Design?
We just need to know in advance, so make sure to let us know how many rooms you want to do when you inquire.
