You may recognize this sweet sage green nursery from a while ago when we revealed the Virtual Design. We’re based here in Southern California and this nursery was for a client in Atlanta. Luckily, we were still able to get some photos!
One of the best parts of this nursery design is the panel molding. We went back and forth on the exact design, how to work it around the windows and doors, etc., and worked with the client’s contractor in Atlanta. Then we had to choose the perfect color! What’s so great about this particular color is that it looks different depending on the lighting, giving the room dimension. The color we finally decided on is Sherwin Williams SW6191 Contended.
Since the walls are a cool tone, we wanted to warm up the space with medium wood furniture. The curved lines on the crib, dresser, glider and bookcase also give the space a dynamic and soft look. We chose to accent the room with black, rust tones and other neutrals to give everything an earthy feel.
